Happy Mother's Day

Here is the poem I wrote for mothers in church during Mother's Day. Hope it blesses your heart...

Dear mother

You are a truly a gift from God’s heart to me,
Though sometimes its hard to understand your heartfelt intentions,
Yet your love, perseverance and patience conquers all,
Through the storm of sometime meaningless and harsh words and actions, not allowing any of it to stick to the Teflon of your beautiful heart

For God has given you His heart,
Te see beyond the frailties of this beloved child,
To bring out the treasure He has crafted deep within,
There will never be perfect mothers
nor will there ever be perfect children
But we know deep down in our heart,
you are the one and only perfect mum for me,
So in these few simple words which can barely express my gratitude and love to you
“Happy Mother’s Day”
